Requirements

Students

Please bring the following items to our office to have your SpartanCard made or to pick up your SpartanCard:

  • Picture ID - this must be a valid government issued photo identification such as a driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport. If you do not have government issued photo identification, the SpartanCard Center will accept your original birth certificate and social security card. Together, these two documents can take the place of a photo ID.

  • Proof of Registration - you must be registered for classes to obtain a SpartanCard. During SOAR we will need your SOAR badge.

  • University ID Number - your UNCG ID Number is a 9 digit number given to you on your acceptance letter. The SpartanCard Center will need to have this number in order to find your record.

Returning Students: If you received a UNCG FirstCard during fall 2002 or after, you will not need to have a new one made. If you no longer have your FirstCard/SpartanCard, you must follow the steps above for new students. For more information, click here.
